So i'm craving something sweet and chocolatey but with a yummy cream filing on the inside...
Well why not an Oreo! Wait what?!
When most people think vegan, they think tasteless, vegetables only, and not so fulfilling. All at the same time, presumably. I mean i'm sure you saw all those pretty bowls filled with quinoa, packed with veggies, and that filter that makes it pop on Instagram. Well i'm here to tell you that there's more than you realized, then colorful fruits and vegetables.
I've done my research and tried and had most of all these foods already. And i'm pretty darn sure you had these too or will plan to after this. Read and wheat, here are some vegan foods you wouldn't have thought were vegan:
1. Oreo Cookies
America's favorite cookie and dunker! Warning: Please don't cross contaminate with Milk. We now have so many other Milk alternatives like Almond and Soy!
2.Jello-O Instant Pudding Mix
You and your family can still enjoy this delicious snack with Vanilla, Chocolate, Lemon, Pistachio, and Banana-Creme. Don't forget to use your favorite dairy free milk and you're all set!
3. Hershey's Chocolate Syrup
Don't you remember as a kid, getting home from school and making chocolate milk? Well now you can but with one of the many milk alternatives!
4. Thomas's New York Style Bagels
You can still grab your favorite bagel on the way to work. With flavors like Blueberry, Cinnamon, Everything and Plain. Don't forget to add the tofu cream cheese!
5. Nutter Butters
I mean what more can you ask for?! Peanut Butter is a snack staple and one of the healthy fats for you too.
6. Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry Sheets
Who would've thought you can use these yummy sheets for a vegan treat? You can easily substitute vegan cream cheeses at your local Whole Foods.
7. Chipotle Sofritas
Well this has been around for a bit now, but in case you didn't know...You can now go with your friends to Chipotle! And get stomach ache's together! Well at least its meat free :)
8. Ritz Crackers
Just one of those snacks you can munch on for hours and realize you ate the whole box. A butter flavored cracker with zero butter needed!
9. Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
You can still have your side of bread with you main courses and feel guilt free! Top them off with some vegan butter too.
10. Taco Bells Bean Burrito (with no cheese) and Cinnamon Twists
Having those late night cravings or need something quick on the go? Well go ahead, because their vegan! No lard needed!
